Dear 2015, I'm sorry I took you for granted. I'm sorry I thought that time flew fast. I'm sorry for looking forward to 2016 so much that I forgot to thank you. It has been one hell of an amazing roller coaster ride.

Things that I wanted to do right now, taken more than a year ago. Why I want to deactivate my Facebook: Makes me hate human kind even more. I can't help but judge my Facebook "friends" based on their posts. I hate being judged so as much as possible I don't like doing the same. Nobody left to stalk. I don't like anybody *that* much.

I am not a fan of reading subtitles. I know asian dramas/rom-com are way better than our local versions but blech subtitles. I blame it on my low EQ and short attention span. But I decided to try watching Running Man after a friend recommended it. And I was hooked. It started as a 2 episode per week routine. Then ended up a daily habit, considering they have 200+ episodes. I also started browsing Running Man related tumblrs (I actually browsed one tumblr from start to finish which is around a hundred pages). And for the first time in my fangirling life, I'm considering reading fanfics.

Early last year I stumbled upon Palawan Camping's website while looking for my next trip. The website was simple and obviously not updated but still enough to entice me to try it out. Booked the trip last year with Chesca, and soon invited the  usual suspects . It did not disappoint. I rarely say I'm coming back to a place with conviction, but this one is different. I wanna go back. I want to spend more than 2 nights there. I love how warm the owners and the staff are. I love how exclusive the place feels despite being fully booked. I already miss everything about the place. The effort of going there was worth it.I would like to talk more about it, but I think sharing pictures is better. Port Barton is 3-4 hours away from the airport The travel was more than worth it <3

Every year, I say it was an emotional rollercoaster. I don't remember much, but I think I said that just to make it look eventful. But 2014 was an emotional rollercoaster. I did check items from my bucket list (while adding a few more to it) but death in the family and having a love one diagnosed with cancer somehow took it's toll. There was a point in time in the year (December) where I told a friend that maybe if the highs didn't happen this year, maybe the lows didn't either. But then I realized maybe the highs happened to soften the blow of the lows. So hey, I should just be glad that despite all the trials and hardships I faced this year, I was able to conquer them and come out a better person... or so I think. Anyway, positivity was my theme this year. I loved myself more, conquered my fears, travelled, travelled alone, got a tattoo, etc. I plan to continue that theme till next year... + maturity, + responsibility. Ok, I am not really sure of my theme for next y...

And yes, it's that time of the year, where I max out all my credit cards, pretend I'm in my twenties, and wish for things that I probably don't need. Last year, I bought Veronica (MBA) as a birthday gift, this year, I bought a Fujifilm x30 . My previous trips made me realized how much I miss taking photographs and my DSLR is too heavy to carry around. It's also more than 5 years old, and a lot more reasons to convince myself to buy a new one. Heh. Please don't mind the noise. It was also fun to read tech and camera blogs again which I avoided for years  months (like last Feb because Go Pro), to prevent myself for treating every month as October. Excited to use it for my upcoming trip. Now on to the wishlist: 1. Zen Pencils Book - I'm a big fan of Zen Pencils. Most of the life decisions I've made recently are because of Gavin's cartoons. I wanted a print of some of my favorites in my room, but since I'm renting, that would have to wait. H...

So a few weeks ago, together with my loves, I went to another out of town trip. I really did not know what to expect since it was also my first time to go to these places and I'm with people I grew up with (meaning I know their parents and I know what would happen to me if something happens to them LOL). Going back, it started with a impulsive plan with my cousins Claud and Lica. I invited Chesca to come along since she would be having her annual VL on the same dates. The itinerary was also finalized I think a month before the trip so that made it easier. The plan was overnight at Oslob, then 2 nights in Dauin. From the airport, we straight to Oslob (through Sibulan Port). We stayed at Oslob Garden Stay Resort which was better than what I have expected. The staff and owner were friendly and easy to talk to. Also the view!
